Authors Supporting Authors (ASA) was created on
We want this to be an online place for authors to support other authors. We help ourselves by helping others. Our intentions are to reach a broader audience of avid and potential readers and writers. We want to rise above stereotypes and push through the walls of ignorance, while providing unlimited resources to our communities.
Testimonial on Why We Unite:
When I heard that innovative thinker Linda Herman had put together a promo group for authors by authors, I immediately jumped on board. At the time, I wasn’t sure that the group would be any different than any other group that starts out with a purpose but quickly becomes watered down and ineffective. But today, I can say this is far from the case for Authors Supporting Authors Promotional Group (ASAPG). We are a group of close-knit authors who truly support each other and are dedicated to elevating as a group. The way we see it is when one of us is successful, we all are successful!
The benefits of the group are plentiful, but the most prominent plus is that working together we are able to gain publicity through each other by promoting our fellow authors’ work. It’s good to know that you are an Alabama author but Georgia authors are telling their readers about you and handing out your promo materials at their events. This type of promotion is our key ingredient in elevating our group to success. Idea exchange is another benefit of ASAPG. Wouldn’t you like to know what best-selling authors are doing to promote their work? Do you have a particular marketing technique that worked for you to share with the group? We engage in these types of discussions daily.
Our main goal is to PUSH (Promote Until Success Happens) each other up the literary ladder, and then PUSH some more. We unite because there is power in numbers, and as one united front, the authors of the Authors Supporting Authors Promotional Group are able to share with more people what we are all passionate about – reading and writing.
