 Blockbuster novelist James Patterson joins 30 of today's most popular authors as the editor of Thriller: Stores To keep You Up All Night, the genre's first-ever collection published by MIRA books in June.
The anthology, which includes 30 tales of heart-pumping suspense, is also the premiere publication of the newly formed International Thriller Writers, Inc., a professional organization dedicated to the craft of thriller writing.
Each story is prefaced by an introduction from Patterson that depicts both the writer and the story. Many writers have used a familiar character or plotline from their own previous novels and written an original story for Thriller. The authors of the book have donated their advance to International Thriller Writers, Inc.

Headlining the Thriller collection are Lee child, David Morrell, Steve Berry, John Lescroart, and Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child. MIRA bestselling authors Heather Graham, Alex Kava and M.J. Rose have also contributed to the book.
All contributors to Thriller are members of International Thriller Writers, Inc., which boasts a roster of over four hundred authors with combined sales of 1.6 million books. Headed by David Morrell and Gayle Lynds, the board of directors includes authors M.J. Rose, Lee Child, David Dun and Tess Gerritsen.
James Patterson rocketed to the top of the bestseller lists to become one of the top-selling authors in the world today. Patterson is best know for his series featuring detective/psychologist Alex Cross. Paramount Pictures went on to release feature film adaptations of two of those books -- Along Came a Spider and Kiss the Girls-- which stared Academy Award-winner Morgan Freeman.
